Description:
The Quanser Haptic Studio is an integrated product bundle from Quanser and Handshake VR Inc. that is optimized for single PC (or multiple PC) use. The package includes Quanser's versatile hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) software development kit (SDK) and a choice of Quanser's high-performance Q8 or Q4 HIL control board. The HDS functions seamlessly in a MATLAB/Simulink environment.

This multipurpose solution can be used to develop a virtual world and interface to any haptic input device. In essence, you can now easily develop a haptic environment and attach anything you want to it.

This level of control and flexibility is possible because feature-rich Quanser boards offer the rare ability to configure every I/O channel on the board directly from the Simulink interface. Such direct access to the actuators allows for the precise management of a wide variety of devices with analog and digital sensors as well as quadrature encoders. While Quanser's HIL control boards are fully supported by The MathWorks xPC Target, LabVIEW RTX and RT-LAB, its SDK allows any development environment access to any Quanser board.
