Quanser USB-based Data Acquisition Devices

Portable and Affordable Option for Real-Time Measurement

Quanser ground-breaking USB data acquisition technology, with an extensive hardware feature and software support, delivers reliable real-time performance via a USB interface. For easy and quick access to signals, the Q2-USB and Q8-USB devices combine Quanser DAQ technology with our standard connector interfaces. Easy connectivity, low I/O conversion time and up to 2 kHz close-loop control rate, superior to any other commercially available USB-DAQ technology, make these devices ideal for teaching control concepts and control systems research. 

When combined with Quanser amplifiers and control design software, the Q2-USB and Q8-USB provide a convenient rapid prototyping and Hardware-In-The-Loop (HIL) development environment. With a wide range of inputs and outputs, you can connect and control a variety of devices instrumented with analog and digital sensors, including encoders - all with one board. 

The Q2-USB and Q8-USB are supported by the QUARC Blockset in Simulink®, the RCP Toolkit in LabVIEW™, and the HIL SDK which provides APIs for C, C++, ActiveX, .NET, and MATLAB® script.

Quanser QPID and QPIDe Hardware-In-The-Loop (HIL) control boards are designed for researchers requiring precise, reliable way to process large amounts of data. With ultra-low I/O conversion times and simultaneous sampling of each I/O type, these PCI/PCIe-based data acquisition boards are ideal for rapid control prototyping and deliver superior real-time performance for complex controls configurations used for research. QPID and QPIDe are based on NI RIO technology and are compatible with both LabVIEW™ and MATLAB®. 

Combining QPID or QPIDe with Quanser amplifierscontrol design software and plants, such as HD² High Definition Haptic Device, you can create a highly depandable real-time platform for control research validation or teaching control concepts. With a wide range of inputs and outputs, you can connect and control a variety of devices instrumented with analog and digital sensors, including quadrature encoders - all with one board.
