Quanser Turnkey Control Laboratories come complete with all of the hardware and software required for taking your existing department’s PC equipment and licenses and turning them into a superior controls teaching environment. The common components of these laboratories are Quarc real-time controls prototyping software, and either the Q3-ControlPaQ-FW, Quanser’s portable and compact combined real-time controls board and amplifier solution, or Quanser’s integrated Q4 or Q8 real-time PCI control boards, and together with Quanser’s Power Amplifiers. Quanser’s open-architecture and modular philosophy means that our laboratories support other combinations of hardware and software from other manufacturers as well. This base provides the support for over 50 Quanser designed control experiments from the basic servo unit to highly complex and unstable systems.

Quanser Turnkey Control Laboratories are fully integrated with your choice of LabVIEW and/or MATLAB/Simulink as well as supporting Maplesoft products. These tools provide a natural migration from theory to practice. The core Quanser ranges of experiments (Linear (IP02) and Rotary (SRV02)) which are supported with our new Quarc and Q3-ControlPaQ-FW system are modular in design as well, which allow you to add multiple modules onto the base experiments. Hence  your students are provided with many more interesting control challenges than can be derived from fixed, single-function experiments. This modularity means that the basic building blocks (software, hardware & power amplifiers, and base experiments SRV02 or IP02) can be used time and time again – thus saving your University thousands of dollars now and in the future.
