Compete to design, optimize, and deploy a self-driving algorithm that operates like an autonomous taxi—maximizing earnings by completing rides efficiently and intelligently.
Teams will navigate multi-stop routes, make real-time decisions, and choose tasks intelligently using Quanser’s advanced QCar 2 platform and MATLAB/Simulink (language support: MATLAB/Simulink only).
Participating teams will create an autonomous system capable of:
- Selecting and completing taxi rides to maximize total revenue
- Navigating routes with single or multiple stops
- Making intelligent trade-offs between ride complexity and payout
- Operating within strict time limits during each competition phase
On competition day, teams receive a dataset containing coordinates and multi-stop ride details—your algorithm must do the rest.
