Webinar Details
This webinar introduces encrypted control based on homomorphic encryption (HE) to protect sensitive data during computation in cyber-physical systems. We explain how HE enables feedback computation on encrypted sensor data and how controller transformations address the challenges of recursive computation. Using Quanser Qube Servo 3 and Aero 2, we show how these controllers are implemented and experimentally validated through inverted-pendulum stabilization, reference tracking, and iterative learning control. The session covers hardware interfaces, communication, and sampling constraints, highlighting practical tradeoffs among privacy, control performance, numerical accuracy, and computation time.
