Traffic monitoring is essential for connecting vehicle systems, enabling safer mobility, reducing congestion, and adaptive decision-making. This webinar presents a semantic communication framework that integrates multimodal large language models (LLMs) with simulation data generated using QLabs (Quanser Interactive Labs).

The system focuses on meaning instead of just raw data. It sends compact, context-rich information to the cloud. There, visual and language understanding helps detect vehicles, pedestrians, and traffic conditions accurately. This approach demonstrates how semantic communication and AI-driven reasoning can work together to achieve efficient, scalable, and intelligent traffic monitoring in the next-generation of transportation networks.
